Inspiring a new Generation

Stacey Orangi

I finished my Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in Nov 2013 at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa, after which I proceeded straight into my Master of Public health specialising in health economics at the University of Cape Town. I hope to complete my studies towards the end of this year. I then plan on my return to Kenya after 6 years where I can start building on my career. I am grateful to the entire MKA community for being a family away from home.

I definitely look forward to visiting the campus after quite a number of years and seeing the changes in Mount Kenya Academy.

Parents Advisory Committee

We appreciate the support of parents, current and former. It makes our work very easy. Your decision to bring your child here is because you want to give your child quality education. These young people are our future and from reports we receive on our alumni’s success and achievement, all I can say is you all make us really proud.

Community Service

Mount Kenya Academy Senior School (MKASS) has many ongoing projects reaching into the wider community. The pupils have many opportunities to participate in valuable community service work as part of their education whilst here at MKASS.   We have the micro-finance programme which is run by the teacher and students of the Business Studies department. They are assisted by the Chaplain and funded by friends of Mount Kenya Academy.
