Visit by 1st Presbyterian Church of Atlanta

The microfinance students’ board set the tone with their presentation. They took the visitors through the loan appraisal process, shedding light on potential solutions to the challenges noted as well as how running the programme benefits their skill sets and knowledge. Later, both guests and students journeyed to the Kirimara microfinance group who focus on farming, followed by a visit to the Kirathimo groups the next day. The visits included attending church meetings and experiencing the business activities firsthand, thus allowing the guests to hear testimonials directly from fund beneficiaries.

Saturday saw the guests convene with the Chaka microfinance group which was highly spoken of for their exceptional organization and performance. Subsequently, they wound up their visit with exploration of multiple other businesses in Chaka market to gauge the program’s success.
